First of all I want to start off with my love for DA. I use this space more than myspace, livejournal, or anything like that... it's because I think this place shows more of who I am than any of those others could. All my joy is in art, in some form. I can let people know my interests in the purest forms when they look through my favorites and my own gallery. Art is a wonderful world of expressions on so many levels. It really is amazing.

I look at the people I watch and think "wow... I wish I was that good..." I really think my art lacks completion; depth of shading, coloring... It's like my writing, all the footnotes and rough draft, then I loose desire to put more time into it. Which is silly, I look at all this great art I admire, and they talk about all the TIME they invested in the piece, and you think I would get a clue XD TIME. PATIENCE. What are those?

So the piece that is currently holding my attention is one of my ferret Loki in anthro form. I was inspired by and her picture of her ferrets in their kingdom hearts namesake apparel (so cute XD ) so I wanted to do one of Loki as a norseman. I really didn't want to make him a warrior, since ferrets are well... XD not warriors. Not Loki anyway... lol. But I do want to deck him out in some traditional Norse god garb, since he was named after the trickster himself.

And on a side note... I miss my Wii like crazy >_< I left my poor baby at my grandma's and I really want to play Zelda... and Fire Emblem... :sad:

Anyway this is now going nowhere... >_<

Lenore: 5'11" I am actually short for an elf, but then again I am only half, by my father.

Mordikai: No, absolutly not. They would only be used against me.
Lenore: It would be wonderful to be a mother one day.
Rayne: No, but *shrugs* some little whelps might be nice along the way. I've raised dragons, does that count?
Brooke: feh, and take a chance that their would be more of me runnin' around? No, I don't think so.
Onya: I'm not so sure I would be strong enough to raise a child right.



What's your favorite food?

Mordikai: Wild game, things I grow myself.
Lenore: I think I love eatting more than I do any one type of food. *smiles*

Mordikai: Vanilla
Lenore: I do not eat anything that came out of a cow. 0_0

Mordikai: It's what I do.
Lenore: As painful as it is, it may one day be an option I would have to take.

Brooke: Well, when someone threatens your life, it's an easy decision to make.
Onya: I would never... I couldn't. *Shrinks down, holding herself."

Mordikai: I ... Yes. *Stares out, thinking about something.*
Lenore: I hate actions, what people do, more than any one person.
Rayne: Ignorant, uptight, dragon haters.
Brooke: My father, and the things he "had" to do...

Mordikai: *Raises brow*
Lenore: To think of it, I guess not.
Rayne: Is my mum going to read this? No, really... 0_o but what I can tell you? heh... not many people know that I can control dragons.
Brooke: Someone my age shouldn't have so many.
Onya: I have plenty to hid from those who would hurt me with truth.

Mordikai: It is a luxury I can not afford.
Lenore: I think so, but he is a ... well, complicated man.
Rayne: Not many men can hold this gypsy's interest for long. Except my dragon friend, Dreyko.
Brooke: What good would that do me now?
Onya: The man I work for. Wolfe. He is so kind, and he saved me from my previous owner.

What is your job?

Mordikai: I am a mercenary.
Lenore: I am a blacksmith and the village healer.
Rayne: I'm a gypsy. *Shrugs* That's about sums it up.
Brooke: I work part time at a pub/inn.
Onya: House services.

What does that entail?

Mordikai: What do you need done?
Lenore: I deal with most metal workings, like weapons, horse shoes, armor, and I also heal the sick and wounded and educate people on proper nutrition.
Rayne: Fortune telling, dancing, story telling,
Brooke: I do small repairs around the building, serve drinks and food, cleaning.
Onya: Serving, cleaning, seeing to guests, helping Wolfe whenever he needs me.



Have you ever held a different job?

Mordikai: I have been alive for so long... I think I have had every job ever thought of.
Lenore: No, I have pretty much been doing this ever since my uncles starting training me when I was old enough to be in the forge.
Rayne: It's not a job, it's a lifestyle.
Brooke: I've done pretty much anything I could as I moved around.
Onya: N-no, before this... before, I was nothing.


What do you do to relax?

Mordikai: I go to somewhere Aidan can not find me.
Lenore: a nice session in Circle, playing my violin, taking my horse out... I really could go on.

Mordikai: *Sigh* I'm an angel, I am going to be around forever.

So I got these pencils for christmas from my cousin and I just started using them. 0_0 i LOVE these pencils, maybe more than one should love her pencils, but they are amazing. I've learned alot about building a picture in layers since I've had them, with their various shades and textures; and I realized how much my art has improved since I started building, instead of just drawing lines and expecting them to be in the right place.
I also got two awesome easels :-3 I can't wait to get those set up.
But my zest for creating seems to be returning and that is exciting.
